Is acrylic paint safe for rats?

i was just wondering...i have an empty flower pot, and i think my rats will like playing in it. however, it's painted with acrylic paint. is that safe, or will it hurt them?Is acrylic paint safe for rats?
It should be just fine. Even if the rats chew on the paint, they won't eat it. Their mouths are specially designed so that bits of debris do not fall into their throats while they are chewing otherwise they'd be constantly swallowing wood, dirt, cement, etc. Acrylic paint is also generally non-toxic especially in small amounts so if they did eat a bit of it it should be just fine.

Good luck with your rats!Is acrylic paint safe for rats?
I think it would be harmful it's paint if enough gets chewed it could result in killing it.
