Are acrylic display cases UV protected?

I have a acrylic display case holding my hockey pucks and if acrylic is not uv protected then the sun will eventually burn off my signitures. im stuck weather to keep acrylic or buy uv protected glass but if acrylic is uv protected i wont have to. Thank you.Are acrylic display cases UV protected?
Depends on the grade of acrylic.....

If its extruded acrylic then likely to have no / low UV protection.

Cast acrylic is better. This should do you.

Cast museum grade is the best (contains a high UV absorber level and is used to protect exhibits in museums), will cost more though.

Assuming the case is inside and out of any direct sunlight then it should be OK as is.Are acrylic display cases UV protected?
Most pre-made display cases (99%) are not UV protected. You need to go to a custom frame shop/collectible place and ask for UV glass or acrylic.
