Why does the acrylic raises up of off the natural nail.?

in dealing with artificial nails when you are doing acrylic why when applying acrylic on the artificial nail it raises up after two to three days and comes off? a question for essential nails? Why does the acrylic raises up of off the natural nail.?
This is because the surface of the nail has not been prep'd efficiently.

Cuticles should be pushed back, all shine should be buffed/removed, a primer should then be applied. After this then the acrylic can be put on... primer dehydrates the nail so that the acrylic can adhere, when the shine is removed with an abrasive the top layer of oil is removed from the nail bed, this oil is what causes acrylic to lift...

other than this, the acryilc could be laid too close to the cuticle therefore as the nail grows it will have a tendency to lift, acrylic should start 1/16' from the cuticle...

hope this helpsWhy does the acrylic raises up of off the natural nail.?
you need to prep the nail before applying acrylic.

this is really bad for ur nail by the way. but you will need to buff the nail down and dry it out by applying some sort of solution.

gel is a safer alternitive
buff the nail first to make it grindy then use a nail primer b4 applying acrylic...it lasts longer htis way, also dont get the acrylic on the skin around the nail or it will lift up
