not very well no.
if you use a good primer you may have some luck. The problem is the paint will peel and crack if the foil wrinkles.
Enamels may be better for you.Will regular acrylic paints stick to tin foil?
Interesting! I was trying acetone on florist paper earlier today and to my surprise it worked! Not sure about this though!
