Should we use Acrylic solid surface for kitchen tops and which brand to go for?

Does it actually works?? No issues with heat, water, Weight.... Please let me know.. if i can use it in My KitchenShould we use Acrylic solid surface for kitchen tops and which brand to go for?

Corian is the market leader. You should go for the solid material rather than laminate.





It as advantages in that any minor damage can be sanded out, you can make seamless work tops so that the whole kitchen looks like its made from one piece. I'd pick a granite effect rather than a plain white.





It is however not cheap and is quite heavy.
