Is it ok to use ';acrylic latex plus silicone'; caulking on bathtub instead of the pure silicone?

i already have the ';acrylic latex plus silicone'; caulking tube and the label says for windows and doors....just wondering if its ok to use this on bath tubIs it ok to use ';acrylic latex plus silicone'; caulking on bathtub instead of the pure silicone?
Yes you can as long as you know it won t last as long as a pure silicone, but you will be able to get a nicer looking and in the cases with colored grout ( if that applies to you) you can get caulk to match..


There are ways to work and clean latex caulks that you just can do with silicone..

I wanna say go ahead. Since it's strong enough for windows and doors (which collects water). But you might want to double check just in case theirs something that's a little more water and mold resistant.
That will work just fine in the tub area.
