Acrylic paint not adhering to surface after priming ! ?

I've made a few paintings with acrylic before, I bought another flat canvas and primed it 3 times with gesso like suggested in my last question. After those 3 priming s the paint still will not really adhere to it, you can clearly see through it to the canvas. Why is that ? What can I do to fix it ?Acrylic paint not adhering to surface after priming ! ?
What brand of paint are you using? You should be using a good brand of ARTIST PAINT not craft paint. Liquitex, Golden, Winsor %26amp; Newton, Holbein, Da Vinci, all are pigment rich and will work perfectly. Craft paint is not as rich and may even be more transparent. Another problem may be that (some colors even the best) are staining colors and some more opaque. But you say they are not adhering so that leads me to think it is too transparent and thinned to much with water. Gesso and acrylic paint are perfectly compatible so you should not have trouble with it being permanent when dry. Now, if you re-wet the surface to much when not completely dry or if put on thinned it will lift with scrubbing. Just like oils will during painting.
