Can You Use Acrylic paint on tshirts ?

ok im making a shirt for a concert , and i ran out of fabric paint and i was wondering if you could use acrylic paint on fabric ? Im only gonna wear it once so i dont need to worry bout the paint with the washing machine. Can You Use Acrylic paint on tshirts ?
You have to buy fabric paint or use whatever acrylic paint you have and mix them with FABRIC MEDIUM. Acrylic paint acts like plastic, whereas fabric is not. If you only use acrylic paint directly on the shirt, the spots where has the acrylic paint on would feel stiff. If you try to manipulate it like a regular shirt, the heavy acrylic paint would flake off. If you apply it too thin, it won;t stay, and it will come off soon.

FABRIC MEDIUM is something to bond acrylic paint with the shirt. Once you mix the medium with acrylic paint, the area you paint on would stay soft and would not come off. it is also machine washable. Can You Use Acrylic paint on tshirts ?
Yes you can. Be aware that the acrylic paint will tend to sit on the surface of the shirt and if applied too thickly will not only make the fabric feel stiff and thick, but it may flake off with use. Acrylic is essentially a plastic paint. If you are careful with it, wash it by hand and drip dry the shirt, you should be fine.
If you don't care that it washes out then acrylic will be fine. However if you want to keep it and therefore don't want it to wash out you can buy a fabric paint medium to mix with the acrylic. Good Luck
yeah you can it will stick on there forever

usually when i paint with it, i try to wear old clothes cuz i know it'll NEVER come out. so yeah. :)
yaaaa..duhh
